Sonic Vibration Therapy : Turbo Sonic
Sonic vibration therapy introduces a new dimension in health. Degenerative diseases, accelerated aging, and all diminished capacities can ultimately be attributed to insufficient cellular stimulation. As living cells struggle with poor nutrition, low oxygen levels, environmental toxins, and stagnation of lymphatic fluids, disease conditions often develop that accelerate aging and shorten life span.
Dr. Ridley conducts vibration therapy at LiveWell Chiropractic and Wellness through use of the TurboSonic X7. This unit's sound vibration technology excites the body's cells, which can lead to accelerating the body's natural healing response, increasing and enhancing cellular nutrient uptake, stimulating cellular fluid movement, and facilitating cellular waste removal. Patients report that the experience of using the TurboSonic is a pleasurable and rejuvenating experience.
Dr. Ridley continues to personally evaluate existing clinical research about the benefits of whole-body vibration therapy, including the use of the TurboSonic in exercise and weight training. For example, researchers at the Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Idaho have noted training and exercise gains using whole-body vibration therapy, and even found that certain sedentary and elderly patients “have demonstrated significant gains in most measures of muscle performance, similar with comparable traditional resistance exercise training programs” simply by using whole-body vibration. Additionally, such training “also has demonstrated gains in flexibility in younger athletic populations and gains in bone mineral density in postmenopausal women.”
Researchers in Europe have also conducted studies that have shown improved isometric and dynamic muscle strength and significantly increased bone mass density in the hips of postmenopausal women by using whole-body vibration therapy, with no vibration-related side effects observed.
Other studies suggest the benefits of whole-body vibration therapy in weight loss and muscle gain, as well as the treatment of such illnesses as emphysema, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), osteoporosis, arthritis, rheumatism, and low back pain. Other reports record an increase in growth hormone and serotonin (the happiness and well-being hormone), while it lowers stress-related hormones.
